Imagine a world where a children's show has a cast of characters with more psychological disorders than you. Add the mind-numbing debauchery of the worst, most poorly animated cartoons from the 1950s, '60s, and '70s, and you've got what Patton Oswalt says is "like a children's show in Bosnia!" The unholy alliance of noted author, producer and cartoon scholar Jerry Beck and writer/producer/comedian Frank Conniff ("TV's Frank" from MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000). |

The Country Club presents Love Can Be Scary (sometimes) Saturday, March 28th, 8pm Tickets $10 An all new live sketch variety show that comes together like comedic scrapbook with Hari Leigh and Susan Burke (The Country Club) assembling pieces to ponder and then glossing it with a thick shiny finish... Writing and performing in their first full length show The Country Club explore love and obsession and bring a surprising take to a timeless and kinda scary theme. There will be special guests, music, post show cupcakes and enough whimsy to last you until next year. |
